LMFS adds another string to its bow

When say a loved one moves into a care home, or sadly dies and it falls upon you to clear their home you may find yourself not knowing which way to turn.

To keep things simple, can we suggest that if you do ever find yourself in that situation you contact the Leeds and Moortown Furniture Store, a registered charity with forty years experience of fighting furniture poverty.

That’s because the way LMFS operate is when someone asks for their help they send out not just one van but two; one to bring anything that their clients might be in need of back to the Store’s Seacroft hub – the other van to take away and responsibly dispose of the rest.

As you can see on the image above this isn’t a completely free service, no even the most well meaning charity has to cover its costs. But what this new initiative does provide is a). a value for money job that not only relieves you of a problem but b). allows the Store to keep up with the never ending demand for the everyday things so many of us take for granted, things such as tables, chairs, wardrobes and beds.

You can contact LMFS by filling in a donations form on their website www.leedsandmoortown.org.uk by emailing info@leedsandmoortown.org.uk or by phone by calling 0113 2739727
