As the nights draw in and autumn starts to paint the towh with its warm hues, we’re gearing up for a fantastic Harvest Festival here at Moortown Baptist Church. This year we are not only celebrating nature’s generosity but also extending our hands to help those who could use a little extra support. So save the date – Sunday September 17th – for a day filled with gratitude, giving and togetherness.
This year, we’re focusing on two amazing organisations: Caring for Life and the Leeds North and West Food Bank.
Caring for Life do amazing work supporting vulnerable individuals, including those dealing with addiction, homelessness, and mental health challenges. www.caringforlife.co.uk
We’re also teaming up with the Leeds North and West Food Bank, to help tackle food insecurity right here in our community. They work tirelessly to provide essential sustenance to families and individuals facing tough times. Your contributions, big or small, can truly make a difference in their lives.
